Grade Setup-Payroll

In this video, you will learn the step-by-step process of setting up payroll grades, including creating custom payroll fields, organizing them, and configuring formulas to automate payroll calculations. This setup ensures that your payroll system reflects accurate earnings, deductions, and other components for smooth payroll processing.

Notes:

Begin the setup by adding all required variable earnings and deduction fields under the Custom Fields section.

Ensure that custom fields are tailored to match your organization’s unique payroll structure.

Once added, these fields will automatically integrate into the Payroll Calculation Engine without additional configuration.

Use input fields from the Payroll One-Time Setup to further enrich the payroll calculation process.

On the setup screen, custom fields will be categorized into:

  • Payments
  • Deductions
  • Other Fields

This categorization helps in organizing fields logically for easy reference and management.

Set payroll formulas precisely according to your organization’s payroll structure.

Formulas will control how earnings, deductions, and other amounts are calculated.

After formula setup, all values will seamlessly reflect under the Process Payroll page.

Proper configuration of formulas and fields ensures accuracy and efficiency in payroll processing.
